Technical director in TAS ESSET MENEDZhMENT, TOV

TAS Poltavvagon LLC is part of the TAS Group of Companies and specializes in the manufacture of tanks, tank cars, tanks and containers.

We are looking for a Technical Director who will take responsibility for the formation and implementation of the company's technical strategy, the development of production capacities and the introduction of new products.

Expectations from candidates:

• Experience in management positions technical positions (technical director, chief technologist, chief designer) in manufacturing companies for 5 years or more;
• Practical experience in managing the full cycle of technical preparation for production and launch of new products;
• Knowledge of the requirements of national and European standards, certification procedures and rules for maintaining technical documentation;
• Experience in implementing measures to improve operational efficiency and cost optimization;
• Developed managerial competencies, strategic thinking, responsibility for the result;
• Higher technical education (mechanical engineering, engineering, industrial production or related areas).

Main duties:

• Definition and implementation of the company’s technical policy, formation of a strategy for development, modernization and technical rearmament of production;
• Organization and control of development, testing and introduction into production of new types
• Ensuring a high level of technical preparation of production, increasing its efficiency and optimizing material, financial and labor costs;
• Control of compliance with project, design and technological discipline;
• Organization of timely preparation and updating of technical documentation (drawings, specifications, technical conditions, technological maps);
• Coordination of product standardization and certification processes in accordance with national and European requirements;
• Ensuring proper technical operation, repair and modernization of equipment, metrological support and mechano-energetic maintenance of production.
