With a global team of over 4,000 highly skilled developers, consultants, analysts and product owners, we engineer technology that redefines industries and shapes the way people live.About the role:As a Technical Consultant, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.Project helps banks, insurers and other major financial institutions to combat fraud, unauthorized trading and money laundering, and meets their regulatory compliance obligations. We supply software solutions as both software deployed on customer premises and cloud based supported services through our Cloud Managed Services team.Responsibilities:Deploys and integrates enterprise solutions including:Configuration of the software and supporting applicationsDevelopment of custom extensions, to provide required integrations or functionality at the direction of Technical LeadIdentification of issues, demonstrating initiative in resolution of technical issues and seeking our support of Technical Lead where problems are too complex to debug individuallyAdhering to software development approaches and methodologiesAble to self-manage in delivering high quality work product to meet project expectations within deadlinesGoes beyond routine questioning to find the underlying causes of problems or discrepancies to identify problems and develop sound solutionsTracks and reports development progress to Team LeadAble to work with other members of teams in a collaborative mannerGood communication skillsRequirements:At least 2 years of professional roles in organizationsUnderstand and analyze requests, react quicklyExcellent English, both written and speaking skills are requiredDetail oriented, reliable, stress resistantResponsible, initiative, multitasking is a must, self-organized, eager to learnStrong ability to research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve system issuesExperience with enterprise-wide software deliveries using an SDLC delivery framework (Waterfall or Agile)Ability to provide hands-on support to test team during QA cyclesHands on experience in the following is required:Languages: Java, Python, (working knowledge of at least 1 is required. Other OOP languages may be considered)Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL (Strong knowledge of SQL concepts and procedural language constructs in 1 is a must. Other DBMS such SQL Server, MySQL, or DB2 may be considered)J2EE Application Servers: JBoss EAP, IBM WebSphere (familiarity in at least 1 is required)Messaging and Streams: JMS and KafkaScripting: Linux/Unix and shell scripting (must be comfortable working in linux based environments)Source Control Tools (SVN, GIT of equivalent)Desirable:Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft ProjectKnowledge of CI/CD Tools and PipelineCloud providers – AWS, AzureExperience with XSLT, XML, or JavaScriptData Analytics/Mining: Using SAS, R, PythonWhat's in it for you?Care: your mental and physical health is our priority.
