Technical Artist 2D in Weird Johnny Studio

About Us
The name Weird Johnny Studio is a small team from Gdańsk that creates mobile games. When implementing our projects, we abandon the patterns of creating mobile games focused on monetization and instead focus on creating original gameplay. We do not accept deadlines, instead we strive for perfection by refining every detail of the game and gameplay. 

Our latest released project is Hero Tale - Idle RPG: a mobile game combining the two title genres, implemented in a cartoon style with 2D graphics. 

We are currently starting work on a new project, in a much darker style, implemented in 2D graphics.

Due to the development of our studio, we are looking for a 2D Tech Artist to join our team.

• Over 2 years of experience in creating games as a Technical Artist
• Readiness for hybrid work in the office in Gdańsk
• Knowledge and experience with Unity and its tools , such as Unity Shader Graph or Animator Controllers
• Knowledge of C#
• Extensive knowledge of shaders and their optimization to work on mobile devices;
• Experience in working and collaborating with programmers
• Experience in creating and optimizing graphics for games for mobile devices

Not required, but welcome:

• Knowledge of Photoshop
• Knowledge of Spine 2D documentation
• Knowledge of the ClickUp platform
