Inthis role, you will guide ateam ofdevelopers increating high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend services and APIs that power our products across web, mobile, and various platforms. Responsibilities: Backend Development Leadership: Oversee backend development activities including architectural design, coding, testing, and deployment; Technical Guidance: Direct technical decision-making and standardize tools, programming languages, and frameworks for backend development; Optimization ofBackend Components: Wedesign and optimize backend components such asAPIs, microservices, databases, cloud services, and queues; Team Leadership: Guide and mentor members ofthe backend team, promoting engineering best practices; System Monitoring: Oversee the health, availability, and performance ofbackend systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly; Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and front-end developers tounderstand business requirements and integrate backend services seamlessly; Technology Evaluation: Stay updated with the latest technologies and assess their potential integration within our systems. Requirements: Experience: Atleast 5+years inIT sphere; Experience inbackend development and architectural design; Programming Proficiency: Expertise inlanguages such asPython, Java, Node.js, Ruby, orequivalent; Deep Knowledge: Comprehensive experience with web applications, APIs, REST, microservices, and database systems; Team Leadership: Aproven track record ofleading and mentoring engineering teams; Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability tocollaborate effectively across cross-functional teams; Technical Mastery: Astrong understanding ofscalability, security, testing, and deployment methodologies; Technical Expertise: Knowledge ofdata structures, algorithm design, and system optimization; Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, orsimilar providers; Integrating and Identity Management: Experience integrating client systems using SSO and other approaches; Veeva System: Experience working with Veeva systems would benice tohave.
