SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As a Team Leader at Finalsite, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical execution and strategic product development. This position requires a unique blend of leadership skills, technical expertise, and a collaborative spirit. You will act as a coach for your team, ensuring high standards of quality and delivery while maintaining hands-on involvement in technology.

100% Remote - Anywhere within the Poland- B2B Contract

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Key Responsibilities:
    1. Technical Leadership and Hands-on Involvement : Maintain an active role in coding and technical decision-making, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Guide the team in adopting new technologies and best practices.
    2. People Management and Coaching : Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering their professional growth. Act as a coach to enhance their technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork.
    3. Strategic Partnership with Product Owner : Act as the 'best friend' for the Product Owner, collaborating closely to shape product requirements, define scope, and ensure the team's work aligns with business goals.
    4. Project and Quality Management : Oversee project timelines, delivery, and quality. Implement and maintain rigorous testing and quality assurance processes.
    5. Collaborative Team Environment : Cultivate a positive, collaborative, and innovative team culture. Encourage continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.
    6. Stakeholder Communication : Serve as a key point of contact between the engineering team, product management, and other stakeholders. Ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals and progress.
    7. Requirements:

      • Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering (preferably in  React / Node.js ), with a proven track record in technical leadership.
      • Experience in people management, ideally in a technology-driven environment.
      • Strong hands-on technical skills with a deep understanding of software development processes and best practices.
      • Excellent collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with Product Owners and cross-functional teams.
      • Strong coaching and mentoring abilities, with a focus on developing high-performing teams.
      • Passion for quality and delivery excellence, with a keen eye for detail.
      • Demonstrated expertise in software development methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe

RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT

Finalsite offers 100% fully remote employment opportunities, however, these opportunities are limited to permanent residents of Poland. Current residency, as well as continued residency, within Poland is required to obtain (and retain) employment with Finalsite.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering (preferably in  React / Node.js ), with a proven track record in technical leadership.
