Team Lead Developer in PZU Ukraina / PZU Ukrayina SK PrAT / PZU Ukraina ChAO

The European company PZU, one of the leaders in the insurance market in Ukraine, invites a specialist to the position of Team Lead Developer.

Basic functional responsibilities:

• Coordinating the work of the internal development team and interacting with business analysts to implement requirements.
• Organization and control of the process of knowledge transfer (knowledge transfer) from the external development team: sessions, documentation, code review.
• Planning and distribution of tasks within the framework of Agile/Scrum methodologies, ensuring timely execution.
• Participation in development (Java backend, Angular frontend), analysis of the system to assess its state and development needs.
• Cooperation with an external development team: participation in joint sprints, pair programming, code evaluation.
• Ensuring code quality through code reviews and mentoring future team members.
• Monitoring progress, reporting to stakeholders, solving technical problems.

Requirements for the candidate:

• Higher education in the field of IT, computer science, mathematics or related discipline.
• 5+ years of Java development experience (Spring Boot, Hibernate).
• Experience with Angular (10+), TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx, HTML/CSS.
• 2+ years of experience as a Team Lead, Tech Lead or Senior Developer with leadership functions.
• Experience with legacy systems, API integration (REST/GraphQL) and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience in organizing or participating in the knowledge transfer process (for example, onboarding new teams, working with outsourcing).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, using tools (Jira, Confluence, Git).
• Deep knowledge of Java (8+), Spring Framework, Hibernate, Maven/Gradle.
• Understanding CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), Docker/Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of OOP principles, design patterns, microservices architecture.
• Desirable experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Additional professional certifications (for example, Oracle Java, Scrum Master, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) will be an advantage.
