We are currently looking forHead of Mechanical Design Department for our client is one of the largest developers and manufacturers of UAVs for the defense needs of Ukraine.

The company has assembled a strong team of engineers, designers and specialists in Hardware, QA, RF, who create products that help the military achieve its goals. Our own production facilities allow us to quickly implement changes and ideas.

Required skills and experience:

• More than 2 years of experience as Head of Mechanical Design Department, where I successfully managed the team, expanded and scaled projects.
• Confident technical management skills to successfully manage projects from idea to finished product.
• Considerable experience in composite and ultralight structures.
• Deep understanding of design factors, manufacturability and ergonomics.
• Knowledge of metal processing technologies (steel, aluminum), plastics (in particular, plastic casting technology), rubber.
• Expertise in the manufacture of metal and composite parts, as well as deep skills in 3D printing.
• Experience of working with contractors both in Ukraine and abroad.
• Fluency in English at B2 level.
• Availability of higher professional education.

It will be a plus:

• Experience with SolidWorks.

Future Duties:

• Manage the design department.
• Distribute and prioritize tasks in the team, ensuring their timely completion.
• Participate in technical meetings to solve strategic issues and optimize projects.
• Improve products to the desired level of quality and technical characteristics.
• Improve the work of the team, increasing its productivity and efficiency.
