Position functions:< /strong>
• Managing the Data Governance team
• Creating policies, procedures and standards to ensure data quality, availability and reliability
• Automating data management processes< /p>
• Creation of Data Catalog:
o Communications with data owners and managers of source systems to obtain technical and business description of data sources
o Analysis of sources, processing of analysis results with managers of source systems
o Determination of technical directions and terms of processing data source systems
o Tracking of terms of development of technical implementation, communication with developers, managers of source systems
o Verification of the results independently and with managers of source systems
o Keeping documentation on processed sources
• Participation in the formation of the strategy and development of the company's data management
Professional competences:
Work in the Data area - 4+ years
• In-depth understanding the principles and practices of data management, including the creation of policies, procedures and standards to ensure data quality, availability and reliability
• Knowledge of the DAMA-DMBOK methodology
• Practice of building Data Quality, Meta processes Data Management, Data Lineage, Data Catalog
• Understanding of underlying technologies and tools related to data management such as data warehouses/lakes, ETL processes, BI tools, Big Data, Data science and others.
• Practical experience in building ETL/ELT for DWH and Data Lake, understanding the differences when implemented (Highly desirable)
• Programming practice (SQL is a must, Python is very preferably, ABAP will be +)
• Ability to clearly formulate the problem and ask questions
• Ability to look at the problem from a different point of view
• Ability to independently check incoming data and result
