Brief job description:

Team Lead of the Data Governance team.

To develop the Data Governance direction, a Team Lead is needed to build team cooperation with data management.

Required:

• Understanding and practice in the processes of working with data (Data Analysis, Data Management, Data Quality, Data Lineage).
• Owning analytical tools:
• SQL - Must Practice
• Python - Must Practice
• ETL/ELT - Deep Understanding Better Practice Application

Position functions:

• Management of the Data Governance team

• Automation of data management processes:
• Creation of Data Catalog and Business Glossary
• Building Data Quality processes
• Formation of Data Lineage
• Metadata Management
• Management of other processes from the "Data Governance wheel" (DAMA-DMBOK)

• Using Data Governance tools (eg SAP Data Intelligence, MS Purview, Amazon DataZone and similar)
• Establishing policies, procedures and standards to ensure data quality, availability and reliability

  Participation in strategy formation and data management development

  Professional competencies:

  Work in the Data area — 4+ years

  • In-depth understanding of data management principles and practices, including establishing policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality, availability, and reliability
  • Practice in building Data Management, Data Quality, Data Catalog, Data Lineage processes
  • Understanding of underlying technologies and tools related to data management such as data warehouses/lakes, ETL processes, BI tools, Big Data, Data science and others.
  • Practical experience in building ETL/ELT for DWH and Data Lake, understanding the differences when implemented (highly desirable)
  • Programming practice (SQL, Python is a must 'required')
  • Ability to clearly formulate the problem and ask questions
  • Ability to look at the problem from a different point of view
  • Ability to independently check the input data and the result
