The Team Lead Affiliate Manager ensures the overall performance and operational excellence of the AM team by:
- Managing strategic publisher relationships and leading a team of AMs to achieve revenue, ROI, and retention targets.
- Planning and optimizing lead volume, payout strategy, incentives, and testing budgets for Nutra offers.
- Evaluating and reallocating publisher portfolios to align with each AM’s performance and relationship strengths.
- Ensuring all AM activities align with Nutra business goals, Deal Policy Framework, and approved targets.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3–6 Affiliate Managers to achieve performance excellence across Nutra offers.
- Directly manage VIP and high-potential publishers, ensuring high engagement, stable traffic, and ROI.
- Take ownership of weekly lead and deal plans, incentive design, and testing budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and alignment with revenue targets.
- Monitor daily performance metrics (lead, AR, DR, ROI) and take immediate action to address underperformance or traffic anomalies.
- Regularly evaluate each AM’s publisher portfolio (performance, engagement, relationship fit) and reassign publishers to optimize team efficiency.
- Conduct weekly 1-on-1s to review KPI progress (lead volume, ROI, AR, DR, retention).
- Provide structured coaching on deal negotiation, and publisher retention best practices.
- Maintain clear reporting discipline (daily updates, weekly summaries) and ensure all actions are data-backed.
- Foster accountability, collaboration, and professional growth across the AM department.
- Forecast monthly and quarterly performance; ensure lead plans align with capacity and targets.
- Track and analyze, payout – AR target adjustments, testing budgets and incentive results to ensure ROI optimization.
- Proactively identify high-potential Nutra offers and recommend scaling strategies.
B. Cross-functional Collaboration
With BD Team:
- Collaborate in publisher qualification, ensuring new onboarded partners meet Nutra standards and traffic requirements.
- Support handover and activation of new publishers; monitor early-stage performance (first 7–14 days).
- Share post-onboarding feedback and co-develop reactivation campaigns for dormant publishers.
- Align deal structures and payout policies between BD and AM to maintain consistency and profitability.
- Participate in pipeline reviews to help prioritize acquisition efforts by new GEO and vertical potential.
With Marketing Manager:
- Provide insights on publisher behavior, GEO trends, and offer performance to support marketing planning.
- Collaborate on brand & visibility campaigns to enhance engagement and retention.
- Supply feedback from AMs and publishers post-campaign to refine marketing messages and creatives.
With Finance:
- Work closely to maintain payout (PO) range frameworks, allowing AMs to propose deals quickly and logically.
- Review PO and AR target adjustment proposals for accuracy and margin compliance before submission.
- Track payout-to-ROI performance and recommend adjustments to ensure team goals are met.
With Operations:
- Provide feedback from AMs and publishers on offer performance, LP optimization, and lead quality issues.
- Coordinate closely to test and scale new Nutra products and creatives.
C. Data, Reporting & Forecasting
- Consolidate daily and weekly reports from AMs, analyzing performance trends, risk indicators, and opportunities.
- Present actionable insights and next steps to the Head of AM during weekly review sessions.
- Manage AM tasks, track offer performance, and supervise the deal process to ensure goals are achieved.
- Maintain transparency and accountability in all performance reporting.
