Tax manager / Tax manager in Singenta/Syngenta

Syngenta, a leader in the international market of agrochemicals, is opening a competition for experienced and ambitious specialists for the position of Tax manager .

Job description:

• Manage tax and transfer pricing within the company, including self-review, risk analysis, planning, and compliance with tax legislation
• Develop tax strategy, accounting methodology, and improve processes while coordinating with other departments
• Ensure tax accounting compliance with group guidance, IFRS, local standards, and best practices
• Responsible for statutory and corporate tax reporting, including documentation and internal reporting
• Communicate internally on tax matters and represent the company with external counterparts
• Participate in company and group projects within your expertise
• Maintain accounting systems and applications, potentially lead Treasury operations
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5 direct reports and work closely with the accounting team

Responsibilities:

• Tax and transfer pricing management, including due diligence, risk analysis, tax planning and compliance
• Development of tax strategy, accounting methodology and process improvement, coordination of work with other departments
• Ensuring compliance of tax accounting according to company policies, IFRS, as well as local legislation and better practitioner
• Responsibility for legal and corporate tax reporting, including documentation and internal reporting
• Tax communication and representation of the company with external counterparties
• Participation in company projects and within the Syngenta Group
• Maintain accounting systems and programs, potentially managing treasury operations
• Managing and developing a team of 5 direct reports and working closely with the accounting team

Qualifications:

• Higher education in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Audit
• Excellent knowledge of tax and business legislation, IFRS, and local GAAP
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Over 5 years' experience in similar roles, preferably in a national/international company or Big 4
• Experience of accounting and reporting in SAP (FI, knowledge of SD, MM) is a plus, 1C and M.E.D.O.C. (or similar)
• Strong professional and management competencies
• Proficiency in Ukrainian and English (upper-intermediate or above)

Our candidate has:< /p>

• Higher education in "Finance", "Economics", "Accounting" or "Audit"
• Excellent knowledge of tax legislation, IFRS, GAAP
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• More than 5 years of experience in similar positions, preferably in a national/international company or experience in a Big 4 company
• Accounting and reporting experience in SAP (FI, knowledge of SD, MM) would be an advantage, 1C and M.E.D.O.C. (or similar)
• Strong professional and managerial competencies
• Above intermediate English
