Our recent achievement: Horizon Capital Closes its Ukraine Fund IV at $350m, $100m above Target to back visionary entrepreneurs, primarily leading high-growth tech and export-oriented companies.About the RoleWe invite a highly motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Associate to join our team.The ideal candidate will focus on executive-level searches, managing end-to-end recruitment processes securing high-caliber leaders to propel business growth, improve scalability, and fortify operations across our investment portfolio, in line with the principle that people are the core asset of any business. In addition, this multifaceted role contributes to various HR initiatives at Horizon Capital by partnering with people and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where every individual's talent is recognized and valued.Responsibilities:• Lead and execute executive-level searches, partnering with Senior Leadership, Investment Team to identify and attract top-tier executives for critical roles within portfolio companies• Own recruitment projects at Horizon Capital from inception to completion, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding by ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience• Oversee internal HR matters, providing guidance and support to employees on HR policies, procedures, and related inquiries• Serve as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations on talent acquisition strategies, market trends, and competitive intelligence to enhance decision-making processes• Build and maintain relationships with executive-level and internal candidates, guiding them through the recruitment journey and effectively communicating the value proposition of joining portfolio companies• Act as a brand ambassador for Horizon Capital, representing our values, culture, and commitment to excellence in all interactions with potential candidates and external stakeholders• Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives within the recruitment process, promoting a diverse candidate pool and ensuring fairness and equity throughout the Horizon Capital and portfolio companies• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Executive search and HR to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining talentsQualifications:• Passion for working with people and genuine interest in pursuing a career in HR and Executive search fields• Completed higher education, respected certification in HR or Recruitment is a plus• Strong interviewing skills built on experience and knowledge• 5+ years of proven experience in executive search, talent acquisition, or roles with complex recruitment projects in high pace environment with extreme level of ambiguity• Strong understanding of HR space, employment laws, and best practices• Proven track record of successfully identifying and placing high-impact executive talent, talent mapping exercise, ability to present conf and profs of candidates given the business context• Strong knowledge of the Ukrainian talent landscape, with established networks and connections• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels• Proficiency in utilizing recruitment tools, databases, and sourcing techniques to identify and engage top-tier executive talent. Hands on in managing data base, creating presentations, keeping the process at a higher level of efficiency• Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software applications• A curious and open-minded attitude with a desire to work for a dynamic and successful organization• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting a diverse and inclusive work environment• Business fluent knowledge of Ukrainian and EnglishWhy Join• Make an impact.
