BSS systems management and maintenance engineer in Kiyivstar

General purpose of the position. Ensuring uninterrupted and high-quality operation of the BSS network by means of its technical management, organization and execution of work on the implementation of new equipment and expansion of the existing one. Main functional duties: Considers complaints from subscribers and provides proposals for eliminating the causes of their occurrence. Ensures the elimination of problems on network elements BSS. Detects and eliminates discrepancies in parameters on BSS network elements. Analyzes statistical data to prevent emergency situations. Monitors the quality of work of BSS network elements. Promptly exchanges information on the progress of disaster recovery work with all units involved in the work. Downloads software in RBS according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Performs periodic checks on BSS network elements. Changes system configuration parameters according to manufacturer's recommendations and planning management orders. Monitors the use of resources of BSS network elements. Tests and integrates new equipment of BSS network elements (BSC, RBS). Integrates new MSC, MSC-S, MGW according to projects. Qualification requirements for candidates: Higher technical education. Work experience - at least 2 years in the field of telecommunications. Knowledge of the principles of building and functioning of a mobile communication network. Confident user of MS Outlook, MS Office. English language - reading technical literature.
