System Administrator/ IT Infrastructure L2/L3 Engineer in Rost Group

Our partner is an international insurance company looking for a qualified system administrator/IT Infrastructure L2/L3 Engineer for the infrastructure team. We expect the candidate to have a strong technical background, hands-on experience supporting server and network environments, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

  Key technical skills:

• Operating systems:Fluency in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and basic Linux/Unix environments
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP: Experience managing directory services and basic network services DatabaseMS SQL: Management and basic troubleshooting
• Networking: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and basic LAN/WAN troubleshooting
• Security: handling antivirus updates (e.g. Crowd Strike), management firewalls and data loss prevention (DLP) solutions
• Backup: management of hot and cold backups, including monitoring of automated backup logs
• Virtualization: knowledge of VMware environments
• Scripting:basic knowledge of PowerShell or Bash for automating repetitive tasks

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitoring: tracking server health, CPU usage and network performance indicators
• SLA Management: resolving support requests within defined Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• Request Management System: handling incidents, requests and changes using Service Navigator and related tools
• Hardware Support: install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and servers (DELL/HP) and network device/storage management
• Patch Management: deploy security patches and software updates to all network systems
  
  Requirements for the candidate:
  
  
• Higher education (diploma in informatics or information technology)
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in a similar position of system administrator or IT support specialist.
• Knowledge of English at B1/B2 level, communication skills with by international teams
  
  

Conditions:

• Official employmentfrom the first day
• Salary 54,000 UAH 73,000 net + annual bonus, annual salary revision
• Hybrid work schedule (visit the office at needs), from Mon-Fri from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., the office is located at ul. Zhilyanska 110, BC Karat
