Position duties:
General duties:
- Ensuring compliance with NRC policies, tools, manuals and guidelines
- Implement the portfolio of delegated support functions according to the action plan">Preparation and development of status reports in accordance with management requirements
- Ensuring proper documentation
- Promote and share ideas for improving the user support function
- Proactively make appropriate infrastructure changes for better performance of IT platforms, software and services in accordance with NRC global standards
- Implementation of changes in the systems infrastructure established by the regional and/or global IT team. Participation in the process of developing new IT tools and continuous improvement of existing IT tools
- Provide training for NRC staff (instructions and training for staff to better use IT tools relevant to NRC)
- Management of software licenses and NRC platforms in the Eastern region of Ukraine
- Management, escalation and resolution of incidents and requests reported through the internal help desk tool service (FreshSevice)
Specific duties:
- Provide supporting NRC subordinate offices in working with the Internet in accordance with existing standards?
- Installation, configuration, update and support of NRC IT tools, e-mail (Outlook), Office365, Okta, Agresso, Onedrive, antivirus, Unit4, Excelerator, encryption and security updates on NRC computers, providing VPN access, etc.
- Provide staff, IT, hardware/software support, including troubleshooting, to keep offices running , which are subordinated.?
- Provide proactive and responsive support to all end users using NRC (Fresh Service) Global Help Desk solutions.?
- Report IT equipment breakdowns and incident resolution difficulties.?
- Providing preventive maintenance of computers, laptops, printers, networks and any related equipment with IT, according to current policies.? Installation of standard Cisco Meraki network equipment in subordinate offices.
- Local area network (LAN) and wireless LAN management with with the aim of optimal operation of the network infrastructure for Internet connection (optical fiber, radio, VSAT), access to cloud applications, storage and backup of data in the cloud (Office 365), Cisco Meraki networks, and backup power systems, security of IT installations, stationary computers computers and laptops, smartphones, software and mobile applications.?
- Formation of monthly reports and notification of any deviations from the norm in network usage.? Providing IT related technical support to East office staff.?
- Ensuring the functioning of the SharePoint Team site repository and managing access rights.?
- Ensuring proper management of NRC IT equipment and laptop management (Intune Pilot)?
- Management of warranty obligations with authorized service centers for computer and office equipment.?
- Training of NRC staff to obtain technological tools and their proper use. >
- License management for software and cloud services to optimize the use of NRC resources and ensure their renewal.?
- User account management to provide access to institutional tools.?
- Support in budget preparation.
- Support in the implementation of proceduresand tools to ensure information security in the NRC.?
- Consulting on the procurement of IT equipment in accordance with IT standards and policies. li>
General professional competencies for this position: ?
- Experience of working in a similar position in the context of humanitarian aid.
- Previous experience of working in difficult and unstable environments?
- Proven work experience related to the duties of this position? li>
- Spoken level of English (test and interview in English)
- Fluency in Ukrainian and Russian languages?
- Prior experience in humanitarian negotiations is considered a strong advantage
Skills, knowledge and experience related to the context:?
- Minimum 3 years of IT experience, including significant experience with PowerBI and data visualization is an advantage.?
- Knowledge of network equipment management (LAN/WAN network administration, troubleshooting and monitoring)?
- Internal customer service and end user training experience.?
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office365 package tools and building reports in Microsoft PowerBI.?
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, especially in PowerApps, Power Automate will be preferred.?
- Deep knowledge of the software development life cycle and its implementation methods.
