System Administrator in SmartyAds

Main tasks:

- Configure, install, support, and administer Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems;

- Identify, analyze, and resolve problems related to computers, software, networks, and other systems;

- Installing and configuring new equipment, as well as upgrading and updating existing equipment;

- Support and update software on workstations and servers;

- Providing technical support to users, responding to their queries, and helping to resolve problems;

- Maintaining documentation of system configuration, changes, and repairs;

- Organization of backups;

- Configuration and administration of DNS, DHCP, VPN (ip sec) services.

Hard skills:

- At least 1 year of experience as a System Administrator;

- Understanding of network protocols and network topology (DNS, DHCP, LDAP, NAT);

- Knowledge of networking protocols - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, HTTP, OSI model and network equipment - configuration and management of routers, switches, etc;

- Experience and desire to work in a team and communicate with users day to day;

- Experience in configuring and maintaining network devices;

- Knowledge and experience with Windows, Linux, and MacOS operating systems;

- English B1 (or at least to be able to read and comprehend tech docs, etc).

Will be a plus:

- University degree in a technical specialty;

- Experience with virtualization (VMware, Proxmox, KVM, etc.);

- Experience in setting up and managing databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.);

- Knowledge of PowerShell, Python, and Bash, as they help to create scripts, and automate routine tasks.
