I'm looking for an IT specialist (first line of technical support, L1) to join our team. A ninja person that no one should notice, but so that employees have everything working, and they do not have to run around with their problems. My system administrator needs to be proactive.

 

I know from my own experience that it is difficult to tell if your company is your company or not from a standard job description on a job site. Therefore, my description is as long and detailed as possible, I hope you will appreciate it.

 

Why am I looking for a specialist personally, and not HR? We do not have an HR department at bodo. We, managers, form our teams and cultivate corporate culture. I conduct all stages of selection. So let's get to know each other!

 

I am 34 years old and I have been in the bodo team for 13 of them. During this time, under my leadership, the company has gone the way:

* from one physical server to a hybrid infrastructure with more than 50 servers;

* from outsourcing in programming and system administration to full-fledged functions in middle of the company;

* from firefighting to a systems approach towards IT.

 

Now about our requirements for the specialist I am looking for:

* Must have worked as a sysadmin (experience from 1 year), not selling computer equipment or doing everything: from Photoshopping pictures to refilling cartridges.

* Can solve any computer-related problem: from workplace preparation and access for a new employee to block repairs.

* < Strong>Calmly accepts criticism and remarks - in this work there are no clear algorithms on how to perform this or that task most effectively. Therefore, you need to react normally to criticism and not repeat mistakes.

* Attentive.

* Can assemble a computer in 10 minutes (determine the location of the part and connect it with the correct cables).< /p>

* If a ticket with a problem comes in, he doesn't just fix it and forget, but makes changes so that others don't have the same failures.

It will be a plus:

* Work experience in companies with a fleet of 100 or more machines.

* Administration of user access rights in Active Directory.

* Work with Mikrotik network equipment.

 

IMPORTANT: Everyone, including me, works in the office full time. No remote work or hybrid schedule.

 

What you will do:

* 1st line of technical support users.

* Install, configure, repair and maintain computer equipment at employees' workplaces.

* Install, configure and maintain network and peripheral equipment.

* Install, configure, debug system and application software on employee workstations.

* Remotely administer employee workstations.

* Keep track of the number of computer equipment, peripherals devices and licensed software.

* AdministerWindows-based client OS.

* Administer user access rights in Active Directory.

* Perform work related to cable network in the office.

* Payment of 50% of the costs of external vocational training.

How is the salary formed?

The salary of everyone in the company consists of rates and from the bonus part.

The rate is 25,000 hryvnias, the monthly bonus is 5,000 hryvnias.

The bonuses depend on fulfillment of the following KPIs:

 

* absence of critical deviations in work for a month (45% bonus). Our main value is the quality of our work, and we strive for it as much as possible. What is a critical deviation - as a result of your actions or inaction, the client/partner or colleague received/receives/would not receive what is needed/we promised or spent/will spend a lot of time;

* implementation of development projects ( 45% bonus);

* fulfillment of critical rules and deadlines (10% bonus).

 

Hiring stages:

* you respond to the vacancy, in the cover letter you indicate your salary expectations;

* if your resume meets our requirements, we talk by phone;

* if we find a common language, I call at the nearest convenient time to the office for a technical interview;

* if we have a match at the meeting, we will hold an unpaid test day in the near future;

* I make a decision immediately after the test day or the next day and I will expect the same speed of response from you.

 

The trial period is 3 months. You will have the following criteria for passing it:

* Reach the target speed and quality of operational tasks.

* Cope with development projects.

* Master the skills of blind typing at a level of at least 250 characters per minute and a percentage of errors of less than 10.
