Job responsibilities of a system administrator: Consult the company administration on the use of computer equipment and computer information technologies. Install, configure and optimize system software, and master application software. Connect and replace external devices, conduct testing of computer equipment. Provide maintenance of computer databases. Carry out computer anti-virus activities. Take part in the administration of the local computer network of the enterprise. Ensure the exchange of local network information with external organizations via telecommunication channels. Test and repair individual devices, computer equipment, and local network cable lines. Eliminate emergency situations associated with damage to software and databases. Provide technical support for local networks and software used. Carry out preventive work to maintain the operability of computer equipment. Organize the repair of computer equipment with the involvement of specialized institutions. Provide timely notification to the financial and economic service about plans to modernize hardware and software. Draw up reports on the work done.
