Overview

The Third Separate Assault Brigade is a volunteer unit formed in the early days of a full-scale invasion. The founder is the first commander of the "Azov" regiment Andriy Biletskyi. The third separate assault brigade is formed on the same principles as the legendary "Azov" and the entire Azov movement. The basic worldview principles of the Azov subdivisions are Ukrainian-centrism, traditionalism, hierarchy and responsibility. After passing a difficult selection, only highly motivated and strong-spirited fighters, ready for constant improvement and tough battles with the enemy on the front lines, enter our ranks. The backbone of the TrO volunteer unit, created on February 24, 2022, which marks the beginning of the brigade's history, were veterans of the "Azov" non-governmental organization of NSU and representatives of the Azov movement. On March 9, the detachment was expanded to the OPSP "Azov" as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and later reformed into a separate unit of the "Azov" SSO of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In January 2023, SSO "Azov" became part of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and was expanded to a brigade.

Responsibilities

• setting up the security policy of computers and local networks
• preventing, countering and detecting cyber incidents and cyber attacks
• administration of local networks of the unit
• testing of vulnerabilities of computer networks
• control and improvement of security of information exchange systems

Requirements

• motivation and desire to benefit
• knowledge and understanding of the OSI network model, TCP/IP, basic protocols, principles of construction and operation of VPN networks
• administration of operating systems Windows/Linux/ Mac-OS at the basic level: installation and initial setup of the system, installation of programs, configuration of security policies, assistance with solving problems
• computer maintenance experience, diagnostics, selection and replacement of parts
• experience with virtualization will be an advantage
• experience in "Applied Cyber ​​Security", scripting/programming will be an advantage
