Experience raising equity or debt. Experience managing investor relations. Superior understanding of financial reporting, forecasting, and modeling Strong project management skills, including an ability to multitask, prioritize, and respond quickly within a rapidly changing environment. Job DescriptionManage all aspects of the accounting, in partnership with the outsourced accounting team and CFO, and finance functions for the company, including, but not limited to, general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting, financial modeling and analysis, accounts payable, accounts receivable, production accounting, and payroll. Partner with the CFO, accounting team, and external audit firm, ensuring proper accounting on technical accounting matters. Partner with the CEO in evaluating all financing activities for the company (equity and debt) to support ongoing operations and evaluate inorganic growth (i.e. build vs buy opportunities). Work closely with the CEO and founder on investor relations. Maintain and update our financial forecasting model, including analyzing detailed operating projections and monitoring the department results. Lead all annual budget planning activities, including departmental budgets and ultimates. Support the CEO in achieving company and departmental objectives, including preparing ad hoc reports and analyses and setting annual OKRs across the company. Lead, train, develop, motivate, and evaluate staff to maintain high employee commitment and competence for sustained and self-reliant performance and achievement of the company goals. Monitor ongoing performance against company growth objectives, identify problems, and initiate appropriate corrective action to ensure the company is moving toward its target revenue and profit goals. Assist in all tax planning and compliance matters, including but not limited to federal, state, local, payroll, property, and other applicable tax filings.
