The purpose of the role

Sustainability Manager supports the implementation of the environmental and sustainable development strategy of the DTEK Group. The role involves working with the company's various businesses to develop a system of environmental data, reporting and sustainability management.

The main focus of the position is to coordinate the collection and reporting of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions data at the Group level. This includes interacting with businesses, consolidating and validating data, as well as preparing information for internal analytics and external reporting.

In addition, the role involves participation in the development of environmental analytics, ESG data management systems and the implementation of responsible procurement principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of the responsible procurement program Groups.
• Collaboration with the procurement team to integrate ESG criteria into the supplier evaluation process.
• Participation in the formation of requirements for ESG data of suppliers (environmental practices, emissions, etc.).
• Interaction with businesses to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of data submission.
• Maintenance and development of the GHG data management system in accordance with the requirements of the GHG Protocol and standards ESRS.
• Working with businesses to improve the quality and completeness of environmental information.
• Supporting the preparation of environmental reporting in accordance with European regulatory requirements (in particular CSRD and ESRS).
• Interaction with legal, financial functions and businesses regarding environmental disclosures.
• Participation in external audit processes and confirmation of ESG data.
• Preparation of environmental materials indicators for management, board of directors and investors.
• Supporting businesses in environmental reporting and data requirements.

Crequirements for the candidate

• Experience in the field of sustainable development, environmental management or ESG reporting.
• Basic understanding of GHG accounting principles and GHG standards Protocol.
• Knowledge of or interest in European regulation in the field of sustainable development (CSRD, ESRS).
• Experience of participating in the preparation of reports or external audit processes of ESG data.
• High level of data literacy and experience with systems or platforms for data management or reporting.
• Experience of interaction with various stakeholders and coordination of processes between teams.
• Developed organizational and project skills.
