"Tenth of April" is a public organization that implements the UNHCR program aimed at improving the protection of internally displaced persons (IDPs), the population affected by the conflict, by providing legal, social, psychological and humanitarian aid, promoting legislative changes, involving communities in responding to emergencies and finding long-term solutions, in cooperation with authorities and supporting their potential, with a special emphasis on the most vulnerable groups.

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive team player who is interested in communication, effective communication and self-development with the goal of protecting internally displaced persons and persons affected by conflict.

Duties and responsibilities

A consolidated information analyst as a team member is expected to:

• • Analysis of the situation of access to the border;
• • monitoring of the humanitarian situation at the border and providing recommendations for its improvement;
• • provision of consultations (information) on protection issues;
• • interaction with representatives of public authorities, voluntary, local, and international organizations in order to ensure the interests of beneficiaries.

Qualification requirements:

• • General understanding of the mission and mandate of the UN Refugee Agency.
• 
  • Experience working in humanitarian projects is desirable, but not mandatory.
• • In-depth knowledge of the spoken and written Ukrainian language.
• • Knowledge of the spoken and written English language is welcome.
• • Excellent computer skills (must be MS Office ).
• • Availability of a personal PC.

Skills required:

• • Communication skills: listening skillsand, to express one's thoughts (to be clear), non-verbal interaction skills, to adequately express one's emotions and to perceive and understand the emotional state of other people;
• • Analytical skills to assess the situation based on the collected information, draw conclusions and propose solutions;
• • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact, consult and report.

Working hours: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
