Support QA Engineer

Ajax Systems is a full-cycle Ukrainian company that works from idea generation and R&D to serial production and sale.

We do everything: we produce physical devices (the system consists of many different sensors and hubs), we develop firmware for them, the server part, and we release mobile applications.

This is an opportunity to be part of a team working to integrate streaming video into the Ajax ecosystem. You will work with mobile applications that interact with both the backend and physical devices.

This job requires you to be able to research complex issues.

Tasks:

— together with the team, make a quality product and maintain it;

— create and maintain high-quality test documentation;

— assistance in troubleshooting and root cause analysis;

- Collaborate with team members to achieve best results (developers, BA, QA of other teams).

Necessary knowledge and skills:

— Knowledge of testing principles and methodologies;

- understanding of client-server architecture;

—understanding of the OSI model;

- understanding of the version control system (git) and its principles;

- knowledge of UNIX/Linux OS;

—strong technical mindset and analytical thinking;

- high attention to details;

—a creative approach to testing;

- initiative.

Will be a plus:

— Experience with video testing;

— experience of working with embedded projects;

- basic knowledge of radio electronics.

- Kibana;

- SQL, KQL etc;
