We are currently looking for a Technical Support Engineer to be the first point of contact for our customers on technical issues. You will work with modern cloud infrastructure (based on VMware ESXi and KVM), help with the configuration of services, ensure the stable operation of client systems and participate in internal projects.

 Main duties:

  • Processing customer inquiries (phone, email, ticket system)
  • Creation, modernization and deletion of services in the billing system
  • Diagnosis of technical problems of customers based on their requests and escalation to the 2/3 line if necessary
  • Interaction with adjacent units to solve complex technical cases
  • Informing management about critical incidents
  • Consulting customers on the use of services and interfaces management
  • VM deployment in the cloud, configuration of backups and accesses, as well as security (Firewall, NAT, other)
  • Participation in the transfer of customer infrastructure, including services, data and virtual machines, to the cloud platform
  • Reaction to notifications of monitoring systems
  • Internal migration of customer services and infrastructures
  • User support (OS, networks, mail servers, backups, office equipment, etc.)
  • Coordinating the time of technical work with clients
  • Implementation of KPI, participation in internal projects

 Requirements:

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI
  • Experience working with Windows/Linux server OS
  • Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, AD, RDP/RDS, SNAT,DNAT, Firewall
  • Working with monitoring systems (Zabbix or similar)
  • Experience of interacting with clients
  • Basic knowledge of virtualization (VMware Workstation, VirtualBox, Hyper-V)
  • Backup (Veeam or similar)
  • Configuration of web panels (HestiaCP, etc.)

Will be a plus:

  • Practical experience with ESXi, KVM (OpenStack)
  • VPN configuration (WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPsec)
  • Working with network equipment (Cisco, MikroTik, Fortigate)
  • Site migration experience
  • Knowledge of English and Polish at a level sufficient to communicate with clients
  • Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL). HestiaCP)
  • Participation in the implementation or support of backup systems (Veeam, etc.)
