Your responsibilities:

  • Working in a development and service support team, interacting with analysts, developers, and testers
  • Incident management, analysis, identification, and resolution of service operation issues
  • Read logs of service and microservice operations
  • Ensuring fast and efficient issue resolution in the production environment of services for which the team is responsible
  • Creating/updating/analyzing documentation for the support team’s business processes
  • Writing technical requirements for building process monitoring (both business and technical)

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in software support
  • 2+ years of experience with Java, Kafka, WildFly and JBoss; DB: Postgres (MySQL, Oracle)
  • Ability to analyze and correct errors based on service, microservice and software log data
  • Understanding of microservices operation principles
  • Experience working with Kubernetes and Helm for various environments
  • Knowledge of incident and problem management processes
  • Experience with tools, techniques and platforms for defect tracking, execution and the ability to configure them at the required level
  • Understanding of SDLC
  • SCRUM and Kanban

Will be a plus:

  • Knowledge of various communication protocols (REST, gRPC, events, messaging)
  • Experience working with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Jenkins, GitLab, Github, AWS, ArgoCD, Vault, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Linux, AIX, Confluence, Terraform/Terragrunt, AWS services, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, IAM

What you will do:

  • Work in development and support teams, cooperation with developers, support team and testers
  • Incident management, analysis, detection and resolution of service issues
  • Read service and microservice logs
  • Ensure quick and efficient resolution of problems in the Prod environment for which the team is responsible
  • Create/update/analyze business process support team documentation
  • Write technical requirements for building the monitoring process (business and technical)

Experience required:

  • 2+ years of experience in software support
  • 2+ years of experience with Java, Kafka, WildFly and JBoss; DB: Postgres (MySQL, Oracle)
