The Coordinator assists with the supervision of inbound and outbound traffic, support various procurement initiatives, and help manage inventory flow throughout the supply chain.ResponsibilitiesGather and analyze data for the management team to support continuous improvement projects for the Supply Chain Management department through identifying problematic areas and recommending improvementsUtilize Microsoft Excel and Tableau to find, retrieve, filter, and validate dataAssist in providing analyses from various aspects of the operation that clearly shows issues and required actionsSupport the department in developing metrics to track performance of improvement plansAssist Freight/Logistics in LTL invoice analysis and tender daily shipments for branch locationsSupport the demand planning processSupport the corporate inventory right-sizing strategyAutomate work currently done manually in ExcelSupport the customer delivery performance and supplier on-time improvement effortsPopulate and issue standard weekly/monthly reporting for all areas of supply chainAssist Purchasing with confirmations for Invoicing/Price Approvals, acknowledgements, vendor lead-times, material cost analysis, and various compliance topicsOther duties as assignedEducationAn undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, or related discipline; in the absence of a degree, direct related job experience where a number of years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirementExperience & SkillsExperience in a business environment with analytical work preferred - data mining, analysis, reportingPrevious experience working with freight carriers regarding planning, scheduling and selection preferredAdvanced knowledge of Excel preferredExcellent math and spreadsheet skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office) are requiredExceptional collaboration and communication skills with all levels of internal and external stakeholders, partners, and team membersStrong analytical, conceptual, and planning skillsMust have advanced writing and communication skills, and be able to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as actively participate in meetings and group discussions with individuals from various functions of the organizationMust be detail oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to multi-taskMust successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen and E-verifyThe Mazzella WayMazzella is a family owned company that puts people first.
