Our team builds automated detection techniques that both mitigate against known botnet operations, and are adaptable enough to find new fraud quickly and effectively across a variety of environments and threat types. We’re looking for an Analyst to join our team and manage the full-cycle of fraud fighting, from the early stages of exploratory research to the development of statistical detection techniques

The team is dedicated to protecting the internet by disrupting the economics of cybercrime. Our team builds automated detection techniques that both mitigate against known botnet operations, and are adaptable enough to find new fraud quickly and effectively across a variety of environments and threat types. 

We’re looking for an Analyst to join our team and manage the full-cycle of fraud fighting, from the early stages of exploratory research to the development of statistical detection techniques. This role is at the intersection of data, technology, and business as we aspire to deeply understand how actors perpetrate schemes and develop a powerful product to delight our customers.

CUSTOMER
The company develops and implements technologies to protect organizations and users from cyber threats such as bot attacks, data breaches, phishing, digital fraud, and more. This includes a range of activities and offerings such as Threat Detection and Prevention, Incident Response, Security Consulting, etc.

PROJECT
We are working with a highly dynamic AdTech ecosystem with a goal of protecting the world from malvertising. The solution is part of a portfolio that includes a variety of software products.

RESPONSIBILITIES
— Identify impactful detection leads that increase velocity from the time of threat identification to implementation of mitigation in our products
— Deploy stop-gap defenses for emerging threats through the development of analyses, models, algorithms, and dashboards
— Deploy long-term defenses based on statistical analysis of supply chain data and fraud actor behavior
— Deliver new customer-facing features through collaboration with Product and Engineering teams
— Build complex queries and reports to analyze historical data, including the use of techniques such as: sub-queries, temp tables, complex joins, and variables
— Triage customer and internal inquiries about fraud efficacy by acting as the first line of analysis
— Maintain product excellence and efficiency through improvements to existing techniques and tooling that reduce the time to understand a new detection lead and process it
— Create detailed documentation of models, algorithms, and analyses to build visibility and audibility of work

REQUIREMENTS
— 3+ years of experience as a data analyst
— Experience in the AdTech domain
— Strong SQL programming skills
— Knowledge of Python
— Experience working with multi-TB to PB data sets in cloud databases
— Experience improving processes and implementing tooling to accelerate analysis
—Upper-Intermediate level of spoken and written English

We are looking for an analyst who who will join our team and be responsible for the full cycle of combating fraud, starting from the early stages of investigative research and ending with the development of statistical detection methods. This role sits at the intersection of data, technology and business as we strive to deeply understand how attackers exploit schemes and develop a powerful product that satisfies our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
—Identify effective detection paths that increase the speed from the moment a threat is detected to the implementation of measures to eliminate it in our products
—Implement rapidly protect against emerging threats by developing analyses, models, algorithms and dashboards
—Implement long-term protection based on statistical analysis of supply chain data and fraudster behavior
—Create new customer-facing features through collaboration with by product and engineering teams
—Create complex queries and reports for historical analysistheir data, including the use of techniques such as subqueries, temporary tables, complex joins, and variables
—Distribute customer and internal fraud performance inquiries as the first line of analysis
—Maintain high quality and product performance by due to the improvement of existing methods and tools that reduce the time to understand a new source of detection and its processing
- Create detailed documentation of models, algorithms and analyzes to increase visibility and transparency of work

REQUIREMENTS
—3+ years experience as a data analyst
—AdTech experience
—Strong SQL programming skills
—Python knowledge
—Experience with arrays of data from several terabytes to petabytes in cloud databases
—Experience in process improvement and implementation of tools to accelerate analysis
—Proficiency in spoken and written English at the Upper-Intermediate level
