Daiquiri Team is a small product studio focused on startups, small and medium businesses, we develop products from concept to release and support. We build relationships of trust and partnership with our customers and are always involved in all decisions on our products.

We expect:

• Solid experience with Python and Django on commercial tasks.
• Basic understanding of relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL).
• A fundamental understanding of generally accepted development practices and the ability to defend your technical position.
• Experience in building, improving and debugging CI/CD pipeline (Github Actions, Gitlab CI). Skills in working with bash, docker, ansible, popular linters and code formatters.
• Ability or willingness to learn to work with the frontend. For us, it's usually VueJS + NuxtJS on Typescript. This is a smaller (definitely no more than 40% of working time) part of the job, but it is important.
• Ability to work with requirements and documentation in a live format, text and verbally.
• English - Intermediate or better.

Will be a plus:

• Ability to quickly master new technologies. Our projects often require a superficial familiarity with other programming languages ​​and technologies outside the core stack.
• Fundamental knowledge in computer science.
• Ability to proactively and reasonedly promote technological solutions both within the project and within the company.
• Any public activity (articles, publications, participation in open source projects).

Work tasks:

• Development of products or their elements from the idea to the post-MVP stage .
• Development of technical requirements for the product based on product level requirements.
• Participation in the design of the solution architecture. Task estimates and risk assessment of planned solutions from a technical point of view.
• Code review and other technical activities.

• Flexible work schedule - 4 hours per day mandatory attendance , all other times are up to you.
• Mostly asynchronous communication format (Slack, Notion, Google Meet). We call only if it is really necessary, there are no daily calls.

Hiring process:

• Non-technical interview (1 hour).
• Technical interview (2 hours).
