Strong Middle Automation QA Engineer in AMO

At AMO Apps, we are currently looking for a Middle Automation QA Engineer for Java auto-testing of new and existing functionality. You will be able to influence the decisions used in testing, the approaches to testing, implement and implement your own ideas. You will work with a team of experienced engineers on high-volume and complex projects in the field of fitness, health and nutrition.

What you will achieve in this position:< /p>

• You will have the opportunity to work with CI: configuration of pipelines, support of existing workflows, communication with the Platform Team to solve more complex cases with CI
• You will participate in load testing
< li>You will work with a variety of technology stacks (Kubernetes, Kafka, AWS and many others)

• You will be able to improve the product delivery process and its quality

For this you will need:

• Experience in Automation QA position from 2 years, general commercial experience in testing - from 3 years
• Good knowledge of OOP and Java Core
• Experience in UI and API testing/automation
• Practical experience with databases, writing SQL queries
• Experience working with UI automation libraries/frameworks: Selenium/Selenide/PW
• Experience working with API automation libraries/frameworks: RestAssured/Retrofit or similar
• Experience working with Maven/Gradle, TestNG/JUnit
• Experience with CI/CD systems (configuration/maintenance of pipelines, etc.): GitHub Actions / Gitlab CI / Jenkins / other analogs
• Experience with search/aggregation systems logs: Kibana / Grafana / analogues
• Experience with Docker / k8s /Kafka / RabbitMQ / non-sql databases, writing scripts and analyzing load test results will be a significant plus

Your manager will be Tech lead QA team - Valentyn, who has been in QA for about 8 years and in AMO for more than 3 years. I came to the company as an Automation QA and became the team leader in just 3 months. Valentin is currently responsible for the management of Manual and Automation QA teams, as well as directly for test automation, debugging and CI/CD support, selection and implementation of new technologies and processes. Sometimes Valentin develops small web/console solutions that automate routine processesin the team.

Valentin is looking for a person in the team who believes that QA is first of all an engineer and not just a "tester", knows how to think critically, likes to dive into related topics and knows how to work without micromanagement from the side manager, independently and effectively organize your working time.
