Strong Junior / Middle QA Engineer in i3Design-Ukraine

i3DESIGN is a Japanese IT company. For 14 years our team has been working on creating products for the corporate segment in the Japanese market and commercial projects in the US and Africa.

We seek a Middle QA to manually test mobile applications, websites, and control panels.

About the project: 
Mirron project is a mobile application for the Sub-Saharan Africa region that helps users find beauty services nearby, provides beauticians with new customers, and increases their loyalty to keep the market share of product distribution.

Main responsibilities:

• Testing web and cross-platform mobile applications;

• DB and API testing;

• Regression testing;

• Maintain the existing QA documentation;

• Communication with developers and a project manager.

Our ideal QA:

• Has at least 1 year of experience in a similar position;

• Knows English at the Upper Intermediate level to work with test documentation;

• Has a good understanding of QA essentials and theory and knowledge of issue-tracking systems;

• Has practical skills in manual testing for web applications and API (SOAP/REST);

• Understands HTTP and HTML/JS essentials;

• Well-versed in Postman, DBeaver or any other DB testing tools;

• Able to create SQL requests;

• Confidently conducts cross-browser and cross-platform testing;

• Attentive to details and intolerant of mistakes;

• Thinks positively and easily finds a common language with different people, and knows how to work in a team.

Will be a plus:

• Ability to check layouts Pixel-perfectly;

• Experience with testing complex business flows;

• Has solid understanding and hands-on experience in test case design;

• Familiar with various testing methods;

• Experience in testing multicomponent systems (web services/SQL DB’s/third-party integrations).
