Security systems have increased requirements for reliability and stability of operation. That is why the QADepartment at Ajax Systems supports the product both in the development stage and in the production process and further development. They detect bugs in hardware, software, or system interactions. This is not just a team of "clickers", these are creative engineers. They test new devices in extreme conditions: they simulate the movements of people and animals, reproduce difficult weather conditions, temperature changes, arrange controlled fires and heating. Among our devices there is a wide selection of wireless fire detectors, cutting sensors and accumulators to meet any market need. In connection with the expansion of the team, we are looking for a Strong junior manual Quality Assurance Engineer (backend). Task: backend testing (non-client logic); work with various protocols: low-level binary, API, gRPC (client logic); support of programmers during development; to assist technical support in processing requests from customers and partners; be responsible for a separate part of the project. Basic knowledge required: 1+ years of experience in MQA backend design; perfect knowledge of client-server architecture; knowledge of monolithic microservice architecture; knowledge of API and its testing methods; knowledge of SQL/NoSQL (MongoDB); basic knowledge of networks (network), Linux; root cause analysis (RCA) of birth bugs, logging system (Kibana); knowledge of STLC and its application in practice (building testing processes); the ability to qualitatively analyze requirements (static testing) and decompose them into test documentation; writing all types of test documentation (Jira/TestRail); a higher technical education is desirable (can be a student of a higher education institution); knowledge of English is not lower than Intermediate. It will be a plus: understanding of metrics and experience of working with DataDog, Grafana; performance testing (own scripts, Jmeter and others); knowledge of Python; experience with BloomRPC, Kibana, Docker, AWS; understanding of embedded systems.
