Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Program Specialist works closely with the manager and technical leaders to ensure the support of the field team (Psychologist and Psychological team). He/she ensures the appropriate quality of services and solutions to all team needs.

Job Description:

The role of the Corporate Wellbeing Specialist is to organize and deliver stress management training and conduct staff wellbeing assessments. The corporate welfare specialist also has additional responsibilities for technical support, reporting and documentation.

The Corporate Wellbeing Specialist will be responsible for the delivery of well-being training and seminars and the development of relevant training materials and documentation based on best global standards, and in close collaboration with the Technical Specialist of the Psychosocial Support Department (MHPSS) and the HR Manager. 

Priority will be given to candidates with relevant education and technical experience. 

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the maintenance and development of the well-being of staff at all field sites work in the fields and in the offices of the International Medical Corps through the implementation of corporate welfare and related measures. 

  • Schedule meetings of the Staff Welfare Committee, take notes and monitor all processes. 

  • Facilitate stress management, time management and stress management workshops for staff.  

  • Organize team building events and seminars. 

  • Ensure general respect for privacy and confidentiality of informationand employees 

  • Technical support

    • Provides technical support and feedback for all related corporate wellness activities .
    • Leads the development of training materials on corporate well-being and organizes training online seminars.
    • Provides technical support other corporate welfare organizations using the Working Group on Psychosocial Support (MHPSS). 


    Other tasks

    • Ensure high quality correspondence and communication with colleagues, local partners, other institutions, grantees and government organizations as required and instructions 

    • Contributes to the preparation of proposals and report writing as needed. 

    • Responsible for collecting and reporting on specific program indicators relevant to their area of ​​work. 

    Reporting:

    • Compile and send a monthly report on meetings and activities of working groups.
    • Provide regular information to the head of the HR department and the HRD department on key topics related to corporate well-being.
    • Report on all tasks and responsibilities links, including referrals, using data collection tools provided by the International Medical Corps.
    • Participate in monitoring and impact assessment activities when appropriate (surveys, focus discussions -group, interview, community organization, etc.).

    Minimum requirements:

    • Higher education in mental health preferred , social work, sociology, personnel management or related fields. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
    • Experience in the field of wellbeing and mindfulness or experience in facilitating learning.
    • Knowledge of global guidelines related to corporate welfare in the humanitarian sphere.
    • Excellent command of Ukrainian and English languages.
    • Excellent communication skills: proficient in both written and oral communication.
    • Ability to work independently and responsibly.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, promoting cooperation and mutual support.
    • Ability to work in a stressful environment and cope with short-term deadlines.
    • Strong group facilitation skills.
    • Demonstrate commitment to corporate welfare work.< /li>
    • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

    • Be ready for business trips to other cities and offices of the International Medical Corps.

    Standards of conduct
