STAFF PSYCHOLOGIST

Main activity of the employee:
Planning, supervision, coordination and provision of services in the field of mental health/psychosocial care according to MSF standards to ensure the most effective mental health support for MSF staff.
Main Responsibilities:
< li style="font-weight: 400">In cooperation with field teams, identify existing psychosocial sources of stress in various projects.- Conduct staff training on psychological topics, and namely: stress, trauma, self-help, other relevant topics.
- Offer timely psychological support to staff through group and individual sessions, as well as relevant trainings.
- In collaboration with coordination, propose measures to be taken to create a conducive work environment for all staff.
- Assist in providing emergency psychological support for staff in case of critical incidents occurring in projects.
- Search and identify external local mental health resources for referral or project interventions .
- To take an active part in the development of the psychosocial assistance plan for personnel in Ukraine.
- To ensure the confidentiality of information about patients .
MSF unit features:
- Be mobile and visit all MSF activity bases with priority in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kherson regions, but also cover Kyiv, Lviv, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia Region according to a previously prepared schedule.
- Cooperate with all managers and coordinators to identify possible causes of stress and risks for the mental health of staff.
- Communicate with the Deputy Medical Coordinator, Medical Coordinator and Staff Health Psychologist in Brussels for any necessary support and event planning.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education -Higher education in psychology or related psychosocial fields is mandatory.
Experience -Experience in psychosocial counseling for at least 2 years.
Proficiency in languages -Proficiency in Ukrainian and English languages are mandatory.
