Sr. Software Engineer, Java in Intellectsoft

You will:Use Java to develop cloud-hosted, API-first, microservices and applicationsHandle end-to-end development, including coding, testing, debugging and reviewing codeInteract with users and development teams to gather and define requirements and analyze user stories for validity and feasibilityWork within the team on iterative development that delivers high-quality, stable servicesEngineer effective, defect-free configurations and code that meets business requirements and team standardsInteract with messaging systems like Apache Kafka, MQ, etc.Work in a scrum team and follow Agile and Test Driven Development best practicesWork with containerization/orchestration tools such as Docker or KubernetesQualifications:5+ years of professional software development experience using JavaExperience designing distributed enterprise softwareExperience working with DevOps tools such as Kubernetes/Helm, Terraform, Docker, ect.Experience deploying and supporting production workloadsExperience building REST services and/or microservicesStrong database experience, preferably with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or DB2Familiarity with tools and frameworks in the Java ecosystems (Spring, Spring Boot, Vert.x etc.)Experience with AWS infrastructureExperience writing concurrent and multi-threaded java applications
