Sr. Data Scientist in RobotiFAI

Company Description

A US-Swiss startup, which embarked on a mission to fully automate business finance function, is looking for top-performing and passionate Senior Data Scientist.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role at RobotiFAI.

• Develop and deploy solutions for automating finance processes and solving business problems using LLMs, AI agents, and predictive modelling techniques.
• Execute end-to-end the data science process: from understanding business requirements, data discovery and extraction, model development and evaluation (LLM fine-tuning & RAG), to production implementation.
• Lead, mentor, develop, and coach high-performing team, work actively to enhance the capabilities of the team and play a key role in attracting, developing, and retaining talent.
• Provide expertise to simplify processes and evolve human experiences affected by interactions between data, algorithms, context, logic and interfaces.
• Work with large, complex data sets. Solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems, applying advanced analytical methods as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with end-to-end ML systems, including data processing, feature engineering and tuning of ML models, including LLM fine-tuning, in training and production - with both structured and unstructured data.
• Proven and successful track record of leading high-performing data analyst teams. Effective leadership and coaching skills.
• Deep knowledge of statistical software (e.g., R, Python, MATLAB, pandas, TensorFlow) and database languages (e.g., SQL).
• MS/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or equivalent technical fields.
• Very good verbal and written English communication skills.
