We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join our team! As a Database Administrator at our company, you will be responsible for designing, testing, planning, implementing, protecting, operating, managing and maintaining our company's databases.

• 5+ years of experience with Database Administration for MSSQL Server (2016-)
• Analytical mindset in troubleshooting and resolving database problems
• Good understanding of Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MS SQL Server
• Expertise in SQL language
• Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts such as: PowerShell, Ansible playbooks
• Experience with Windows servers, including Active Directory and disk configurations
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Being a team player
• Being highly organized with a sense of ownership
• Capability of working under pressure


Nice to have:

• Experience with MS SQL Server Always ON
• Experience with MS Azure SQL databases
• Experience with Desired State Configuration and DBAtools
• Experience with ServiceNow & Azure DevOps
• Experience with Ansible playbooks
• Experience with other database systems like Oracle, PostgreSQL & MongoDB will be considered as an asset
• Microsoft SQL Server certifications
