BF "Right to Protection" (hereinafter - the Foundation) is a charitable organization that focuses its activities on providing assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs), victims of military operations, refugees and stateless persons. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and monitors the situation of protection of the rights of IDPs, providing legal assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in 22 regions of Ukraine, and also promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Project "PATH: Protection, Assistance, Togetherness and Hope", aimed at comprehensive and multisectoral assistance for people with disabilities, the elderly, women, the most vulnerable girls and boys and their guardians, many of whom face isolation and barriers in accessing humanitarian services. Project geography: Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhya, Donetsk regions. We provide support to internally displaced persons (in particular, those living in temporary accommodation), vulnerable categories of the local population, as well as local civil society organizations. The aid is provided with the support of the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine (HFU/UHF).

OBLIGATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assessment of social services;Provision of social services at home (assistance in self-care, movement in household conditions, organization of interaction with other specialists and services; assistance in providing technical means of rehabilitation; information and representation of interests) according to needs;

  • Assistance to identified victims / beneficiaries in obtaining additional services (medical, social, legal,provision of temporary shelter, etc.), in particular through referral to relevant general or specialized support services for affected persons and/or other entities; maintaining contact with local authorities and other humanitarian organizations; text-decoration: none">Participation in public awareness raising about mental health and the state of emergency; style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">Participation in writing analytical reports and performing other current tasks within the framework of project implementation.

Understanding the privacy policy in accordance with the legislation on the collection of personal data;

  • Understanding the main social services; style="font-style: normal;-decoration: none">

    Mandatory work experience in state or non-state organizations of the social sphere and with people with reduced mobility;

  • Experience working with internally displaced persons will be an advantage;

  • Ability to speak the client's language and prepare educational materials;

  • Ability to establish contact with other colleagues and coordinate joint tasks.
