GENERAL INFORMATION
BF "Right to Defense" (hereinafter - the Fund) is a sector leader in the protection of people who have suffered from war, veterans, refugees and stateless persons. We seek recovery and integration for those we help. Our team protects people's rights and influences laws and decisions in Ukraine and the world to become fairer. We are actively developing a network of partners for localized support of those who need it. The fund is 13 years old. Today, the team of BF "Right to Defense" has about 1,200 specialists. Geography: 22 regions of Ukraine, as well as a representative office in Poland. More than 3,300,000 people have received aid since the start of the full-scale invasion. Our work was recognized at the national level: in 2024, the Foundation won first place in the "Charity Ukraine" competition in the "All-Ukrainian Charity" category, entered the top 10 of the Forbes Ukraine "50 Best Charitable Organizations" rating, and took 9th place in the integrity rating of Ukrainian charitable foundations.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project will complement the efforts of local authorities, providing critical evacuation from accessible frontline settlements to collective centers and social institutions outside the affected regions, as well as facilitating the reception of evacuees and IDPs with high vulnerabilities in the places of deployment. R2P has a permanent presence in the target regions. Cooperation and dialogue with local institutions is established and supported, in particular with regional and district state administrations, social institutions, municipalities and local self-government bodies (communities). The project is aimed at the priorities of the CCCM and General Defense clusters, in particular the provision of emergency assistance and response to specific defense needs. R2P will also support collective center administrations and other stakeholders representing the rights of people with disabilities to increase their capacity to effectively respond to the needs of vulnerable groups and provide quality services to their beneficiaries. suffered and continues to suffer from the war in Ukraine. Psychologists in the structure of this project receive tasks and work according to the methodology of the Service for the Care of Mental Health of the BF "Right to Defense".

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Higher education in the field of psychological, social or humanitarian sciences.
Specialization courses on working with stress, trauma or consequences of war.
Completion of certified psychotherapy training in one or more methods (or pre-certification stage) will be a significant advantage.
A completed course in psychiatry propaedeutics will be a significant advantage.
Experience: from 3 years.
Personal therapy: from 50 hours.
Ability to establish contact with other colleagues and coordinate joint tasks.
Competencies of a psychologist that we expect from a successful candidate (even if the professional requirements do not correspond to the list above):
Knowledge of age psychology, in particular the specifics of working with older people and people with disabilities.
Readiness and desire to communicate with different people in "field conditions".
High adaptability to changing working conditions (schedule, travel time, direct work time, temperature regime, presence/absence of an office, etc.).
Orientation on teamwork.
Readiness to perceive and contain affective reactions and manifestations of emotions: rage, aggression, despair, powerlessness, etc.
Personal level of resilience when faced with potentially traumatic circumstances.
Proactivity and the ability to initiate contact first.
The skill of active listening is developed.
Developed skill to quickly create and maintain a level of trust in communication.
The ability to apply psychological first aid techniques and self-regulation techniques in stress, the ability to convey this information in an accessible form.
Knowledge of basic crisis care techniques and the basics of working with grief and loss.
Developed the skill of reflecting one's own state, separating one's own emotions from the emotions of the interlocutor.
