General information

BF "Right to Defense" (hereinafter - the Foundation) is a charitable organization that focuses its activities on providing assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs) affected by hostilities, refugees and stateless persons. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and monitors the situation of the protection of the rights of IDPs, providing legal assistance and strengthening the humanitarian response in 22 regions of Ukraine, and also promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights. population and improving the resilience skills of first responders" aims to protect and support the rights of internally displaced persons, war-affected populations, stateless persons, as well as veterans and their families at the national, local and individual levels. In 2026, the Fund, as part of the project, will monitor the protection of the rights of IDPs and provide free legal assistance to internally displaced persons, stateless persons, veterans and their families in the regions of Ukraine.

The geography of activity includes Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Odesa, Poltava and Kirovohrad regions. The territory of implementation may change depending on the security situation and the needs of the project.

The main purpose of the work of the Specialist/position for the regional coordination of assistance in the field of protection is to provide social support to stateless persons, to carry out an initial assessment of their needs and to facilitate the receipt of administrative, social and medical services, as well as referral to appropriate specialists to resolve issues of documentation and access to rights.

Duties and tasks

• Check completeness andreliability of information provided by specialists in beneficiary questionnaires and reporting documents.
  

• Analyze the collected information from cases, describe existing risks and recommendations for response.
  

• Conduct case and document audits to identify errors or non-compliance with standards.
  

• Provide methodological support to specialists, provide consultations on case management and registration documents.
  

• Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards and humanitarian principles in the process of processing cases.
  

• Prepare reports and analytical materials on case management and compliance with standards in the region. 400; text-decoration: none">Suggestions for the maintenance of cases and procedures; text-decoration: none">higher education;
