Jewish Community Center "Halom" is looking for a youth club manager (8 - 12 years old) - specialist in youth programs.
TASK:
Organization and control of the club activities, namely:
Development of lesson plans according to the Jewish holiday calendar, using tools and the concept of non-formal education;
Development of projects, work plan and estimate of youth club for a month, half year, year. Approval in accordance with the procedure established by the Organization;
Maintenance of the necessary financial, program and administrative reporting in the directions of the unit's activities adopted in the Organization in accordance with the budget;
Participation in the development, organization and holding of public events of the Organization;
Search and engagement of contractors and specialists for high-quality implementation of programs in accordance with the budget;
Cooperation with other public organizations, partners, city institutions, etc.;
Work on attracting additional funds for the implementation of youth club programs;
Compilation of the texts of posters, messages, articles related to the activities of the club for social networks and the website of the Organization;
Informing participants participating in the Organization's programs by notifying them through means of communication;
Maintenance and control of lists of program participants as part of their responsibility;
Compiling applications for the purchase of goods and services for events within the framework of one's division;
Ensuring control over the preservation of material values fixed by direction;
Maintenance and preparation of appropriate documentation, taking into account the necessary reporting for the accounting department.
REQUIREMENTS:
Secondary or Higher education, we will also consider the candidacies of students*;
*in specialization priority: sociology, psychology, teacher education
Experience working* with children (work as an animator, counselor in camps will be an additional advantage);
*work experience presenting at events, public events will be an additional advantage
Grant writing experience;
Proficient use of MS Office, text and graphic editors (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Canva, etc.);
Jewish roots and/or active participation in the life of the Jewish community.
