The National Committee of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine (RCSHU) announces a competition for the position Specialist of the Department of Development and Risk Reduction The Red Cross Society of Ukraine is the largest humanitarian organization of Ukraine, which is one of the first to respond to all emergency situations in the country and provides assistance to those who need it most. Specialist of the Department of Development reduction of emergency risks/development of emergency preparedness and response of the Department of Emergency Management is responsible for the development, implementation and analysis of the training process for volunteers/employees of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine and the public, aimed at improving knowledge and skills in emergency preparedness and response. Responsibilities: planning , preparation and conducting of trainings on disaster risk reduction; • preparation of reports, including assessment, analysis and recommendations for improving the training process; • development of the training process, implementation of a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills on disaster risk reduction in the aspect of humanitarian activities of the organization; • improvement of content educational materials and methods of conducting the educational process. Requirements: Education: Higher. University diploma or equivalent. Work experience: Experience working as a teacher, conducting trainings will be an advantage. Experience working or cooperating with humanitarian organizations is a plus. Necessary knowledge and skills: Written and oral communication skills. Skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Skills in graphic editors will be a plus. Languages: Ukrainian (good spoken and written). English is desirable.
