Technical support specialist (support) in TerraLab IT

Desired candidate qualities:

We are looking for both an experienced technical support specialist and a student with an analytical mindset, with an understanding of the specifics of working with databases.

Requirements:

• Stress resistance and a high level of endurance in conditions of heavy workload.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, including resolving conflict situations.
• Experience in working with various databases database, including FireBird, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL (or willingness to learn).
• Understanding of database structure and functionality, ability to create complex queries, procedures, and triggers (or willingness to learn).
• Professional knowledge of Windows operating system and basic Linux operating system skills.
• Understanding of network technology basics.

Responsibilities:

• Consulting clients on software and laboratory information systems.
• Processing inquiries and requests from clients.
• Working with the FireBird database.

Preferred (not required):

• work experience in a similar position;
• basic knowledge of FastReport;
• advanced knowledge of network technologies;
• practice in server administration Windows/Linux
