"Tenth of April" is a public organization whose activities are aimed at improving the protection of internally displaced persons (IDPs), the population affected by the conflict, by providing legal , social, psychological and humanitarian assistance, promoting legislative changes, involving communities in responding to emergency situations and finding long-term solutions, in cooperation with authorities and supporting their potential, with a special emphasis on the most vulnerable groups.  This activity is supported through partnership with the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR).

Under the leadership of theChief specialist in work with IDP accommodation centers and in close cooperation with other specialists of the project, the specialist in work with IDP accommodation centers is entrusted with the following duties:

- carry out initial identification of places of accommodation of internally displaced persons; - monitor and assess the current needs to improve the living conditions of IDPs in places of accommodation (including the assessment of living conditions, as well as other humanitarian needs of IDPs in the Centers); - carry out further support for the improvement of living conditions and humanitarian response in places of accommodation of IDPs; - carry out activities regarding the improvement of the self-organization of IDPs in places of compact living; - to make referrals to other specialists of the project for obtaining legal, psychological and other types of assistance; - to conduct the formation and registration of cases, document circulation, in accordance with the established methodology; - select, update, supplement information on the availability and availability of certain services for aid recipientsand according to the project; - to make regular visits to the centers/places of accommodation of aid recipients in order to fulfill assigned duties; - to issue humanitarian and other non-food aid according to the established methodology, if available; - to interact with representatives of authorities, enterprises, institutions, organizations, public activists, representatives of communities for the purpose of initial identification of aid recipients, during the provision of assistance to them, to exchange information about opportunities; - to carry out general monitoring of the availability of the realization of rights and freedoms for target categories, to identify facts of discriminatory treatment of aid recipients; - to participate in all meetings, meetings, committees related to the implementation of the project as instructed by the management; - submit daily reports on the results of their work and other reports with the frequency set by the Project Manager "Protection of Internally Displaced Persons, Persons Affected by the Conflict, and Expansion community opportunities", or the President of the Organization.

Candidate requirements:

- General understanding of UNHCR's mission and mandate.- Bachelor's degree in humanities, social sciences or other relevant field.- Experience in humanitarian projects are welcome.- Knowledge of oral and written Ukrainian language.- Knowledge of oral and written English language is welcome.- Excellent computer skills (must be MS Office).- Willingness to travel.- Ability to listen to understand needs, requirements and preferences of persons and interested parties of the project.

- Stress resistance and psychological maturity for working with vulnerable categories of citizens. - Tolerant behavior in order to respect people of different cultures, ages, genders, races, religions, traditions.- Critical thinking to objectively analyze needs and benefits and find the best solution
