Proliska public organization is a non-commercial, non-political humanitarian organization that, since 2014, provides comprehensive assistance and protection to the population affected by military actions in Ukraine.

Currently, our organization works in 13 regions of Ukraine and provides: social support of the most vulnerable people affected by military actions; provision of psychological assistance to victims; consulting on social issues; provision of humanitarian aid and materials for emergency repairs of housing damaged as a result of hostilities; provision of assistance to institutions and establishments where IDPs have found refuge; assistance in the evacuation of the population from the war zone and social transportation of residents of settlements along the line of hostilities and in de-occupied territories where regular transport does not operate. style="font-style: normal; font-weight: 400">

  • Higher education (specialist or master's degree) in the specialty "Law" or "Social Work"
  • Practical experience in providing legal assistance in individual cases and/or experience in social work, working with internally displaced and/or vulnerable groups and communities (will be an advantage).
  • Fluency in Ukrainian language.
  • Experience in conducting cases related to gender-based violence (GBV) (will be an advantage).
  • Readiness for regular trips within the Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions, including to the territory close to the hostilities in the territory controlled by the Government of Ukraine.
  • Experience in developing and/or facilitating information and development activities capabilities
  • Experience in similar positions in a humanitarian context (will be an advantage).
  • Ability to work closely with team members.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Execution of duties guided by gender sensitivity and zero tolerance for sexual harassment.
  • Providing recommendations from a previous employer.
  • II. Description of the services to be provided:

    • Determining the basic needs of humanitarian aid recipients using the Assessment Form, and ensuring the provision of the necessary services to meet them.
    • Accepting the reception of affected persons, as well as visiting humanitarian aid recipients in their places of temporary stay (stations, places of compact accommodation, humanitarian aid distribution points, etc.). Informing recipients of humanitarian aid about available social services.
    • Definition of medical, housing, legal, economic, educationaltheir, psychological, social and informational needs of humanitarian aid recipients using the Needs Assessment Form. To assess the situation and the needs of conducting an interview (face-to-face or by telephone) with the recipient of humanitarian aid, family members and relatives.
    • Determining the goals of the work, developing an Individual Plan specifying the necessary measures, the persons responsible for their implementation and the terms of their implementation.
    • Assistance in obtaining the necessary services according to the Individual Plan of measures: provision of humanitarian aid, temporary housing, processing of temporary registration, documents, employment, restoration passing the necessary medical examinations and treatment, receiving psychological help, legal consultations, issuing state payments, placing children in educational institutions, etc.
    • Supporting the realization of the rights of humanitarian aid recipients. Representation, if necessary, of their interests in state and non-state organizations, establishments, institutions. Information, clarification of rules, procedures and instructions, assistance in filling out relevant forms and collecting documents necessary to receive benefits, assistance and services.
    • Involvement of community resources to implement measures of the adopted Individual Plan. Mobilization of personal resources of recipients of humanitarian aid, resources of family members and relatives.
    • Interaction with other organizations and specialists who provide services, redirecting, if necessary, recipients of humanitarian aid to receive services. Implementation of coordination of activities between institutions, organizations that provide assistance.
    • Development and support in the development of information sessions on protection issues in communities.
    • Conducting information sessions on protection issues in communities and, if necessary, support in conducting information sessions.
    • Identifying the needs of communities in information sessions that have not been conducted.
    • Performance of monitoring and evaluation effectiveness of the implementation of the Individual Action Plan in the process of social support.
    • Ensuring appropriate documentation of all information sessions on protection issues in communities, session reports, photos of participants, feedback forms and information about participants.
    • Writing reports and performing other ongoing tasks within the scope of service delivery.

    III. We offer the successful candidate:

    • Contract until 12/31/2026 with the possibility of extension, depending on further funding and personal work results.
