BF "Right to Protection" (Fund) is a charitable organization that focuses its activities on providing assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs), persons in need of international protection, stateless persons, persons at increased risk of statelessness and persons without documents. The Fund is an executive partner of the UNHCR and carries out direct legal aid programs throughout Ukraine, promotes changes in the national legal base, bringing it into line with international standards in the field of human rights. local authorities, ensuring critical evacuation from accessible front-line settlements to collective centers and social institutions outside the affected regions, and facilitating the reception of evacuees and IDPs with high vulnerabilities in places of accommodation. R2P has a permanent presence in the target regions. Cooperation and dialogue with local institutions is established and supported, in particular with regional and district state administrations, social institutions, municipalities and local self-government bodies (communities). The project is aimed at the priorities of the CCCM and General Defense clusters, in particular the provision of emergency assistance and response to specific defense needs. R2P will also support collective center administrations and other disability rights stakeholders to improve their capacity to respond effectively to the needs of vulnerable groups and provide quality services to their beneficiaries. 400">The project is looking for aSpecialist in work with vulnerable categories of the population in Kharkiv region.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identification of persons with disabilities and/or elderly persons in need of social support;
  • Conduct assessment of the needs of beneficiaries in social services and social assistance;
  • Provision of social services according to needs, as well as home care services (assistance in self-care, movement in domestic conditions, running a household, in organizing interaction with other specialists and services; assistance in providing technical means of rehabilitation, training in the skills of their use; informing and representation interests);
  • Assistance identified in affected persons / beneficiaries in obtaining additional services (medicalx, social, psychological, legal, provision of temporary shelter, etc.), in particular through referral, if necessary, to the relevant general or specialized support services for affected persons and / or other subjects;
  • Maintaining contact with local authorities and its institutions, as well as other humanitarian organizations;
  • Participation in writing analytical reports, entering data on the provided services of the internal data accounting program and performing other current tasks within the framework of project implementation.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Higher education is desirable in the field of social, legal, psychological or humanitarian sciences;
  • Understanding the current legislation, types and main measures for the provision of social services will be an advantage;
  • Experience of work or cooperation with such state institutions and institutions: centers for the provision of social services, centers for the provision of administrative services, services for children, territorial centers of social services, management of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, departments of social of population protection;
  • From 2 years of experience working in humanitarian organizations, with low-mobility people (the elderly, persons with disabilities) and other vulnerable categories of the population - will be an advantage;
  • Experience of working with internally displaced persons - will be an advantage;
  • Ability to speak the client's language and prepare educational materials;
  • Ability to establish contact with other colleagues and agree on joint tasks;
  • Understanding and compliance with the Code of Conduct and other policies of the Foundation;
  • Preference is given to candidates who have their own car.
