Specialist in providing services in support of evacuation and social transportation of the population affected by hostilities

GO "Proliska" is a non-commercial, non-political humanitarian organization, which since 2014 provides comprehensive protection of the affected population. We work on the frontline: from evacuation and psychological support to housing restoration and social support.

We are looking for a motivated specialist for the position of service provider in the support of evacuation and social transportation of the population affected by hostilities, who will provide administrative, communication and logistical support to the team with the goal effective implementation of project activities, as well as support of the organization regarding safe social transportation and evacuation activities.

Requirements for the candidate:

• Education: higher education
• Experience: work experience in the humanitarian sector, non-profit organizations or UN agencies will be an advantage.
• Languages: fluency in Ukrainian.
• Communication skills: ability to effectively communicate and work in a team.
• Professional skills: advanced user of MS Office (Word, Excel), business correspondence skills, analytical thinking.
• Readiness: for business trips to government-controlled territories, in particular to frontline communities, in implementation of the project.

Services to be provided:

• Assessing the needs for social transportation of residents of settlements located along the line of hostilities and in de-occupied territories, where regular public transport does not operate, with the aim of improving access to services and critical infrastructure;
• • Support in organizing and ensuring the operation of evacuation flights to evacuate civilians from populated areas where hostilities are taking place;
• • Issuance of humanitarian aid in the form of non-food items to persons affected by hostilities during evacuations;
• • Carrying out ongoing quality control of social transportation on existing routes;
• • Interaction with representatives of local authorities and further coordination, taking into account identified needs, with the aim of supporting citizens affected by hostilities;
• •investigation, analysis of cases of rights violations, systemic problems faced by service recipients, providing proposals for the creation of an effective mechanism for the elimination of human rights violations. Facilitating the realization of the rights of service recipients;
• • Redirecting individual requests of help seekers to social and psychological support service providers with the aim of providing comprehensive assistance;
• • Redirecting individual requests of help seekers to authorized persons: international, humanitarian, public organizations, charitable foundations, volunteer groups, state employment center, etc., with the aim of providing comprehensive assistance;
• • Conducting business correspondence with other service providers.
• • Entering the data of passengers of social transport routes into the database, including with the help of the KoVo form;
• • Interaction with state authorities and local self-government bodies, representing the organization at coordination meetings with the participation of authorities and humanitarian organizations with the aim of supporting persons with identified needs and implementation of Project tasks; Collection and preparation of Project statistical data.
• • Preparation of reports on services provided.
