Specialist in providing humanitarian aid in Proliska, GO

Proliska NGO announces a tender for the conclusion of an agreement on the provision of humanitarian aid services in the city of Kharkiv

Proliska public organization is a non-commercial, non-political humanitarian organization that has been providing comprehensive assistance and protection to the population since 2014. who suffered as a result of military actions in Ukraine.

Currently, our organization works in 13 regions of Ukraine and provides: social support of the most vulnerable people who suffered as a result of military actions; provision of psychological assistance to victims; consulting on social issues; provision of humanitarian aid and materials for emergency repairs of housing damaged as a result of hostilities; providing assistance to institutions and establishments where IDPs have found refuge; assistance in the evacuation of the population from the combat zone and social transportation of residents of settlements along the combat line and in de-occupied territories where regular transport does not operate.

I. Requirements for contestants:

• Higher education (will be an advantage).
• Fluent command of the Ukrainian language.
• Previous experience related to humanitarian response (will be an advantage).
• Readiness for regular trips within the defined territory of activity, including including, on the territory close to the zone of hostilities (exclusively on territories under the control of the Government of Ukraine).
• Readiness for activities related to physical exertion (unloading and loading, packaging, issuing, installation, etc.);
• Basic skills in using a computer and computer programs and Google forms.
• Attention and literacy in filling in information and drawing up reports on the distribution made.
• Ability to work closely with team members.
• Politeness and diplomacy.
• Adherence to humanitarian principles.
• Performance of duties guided by gender sensitivity and zero tolerance for sexual harassment.

II. Functional responsibilities:

• loading/unloading goods in the warehouse and at the points of issue;
• assembly and packaging of goods in the warehouse;
• as part of a mobile team, traveling to locations for direct delivery of humanitarian aid to the affected population;
• providing assistance with emergency housing repairs and issuing of other non-food goods;
• photo/video recording of the distribution process;
• comprehensive support during the evacuation of the population affected by military operations, assistance in moving people and their personal belongings to places of temporary residence, evacuation transport, etc.;
• making reports on the distribution and entering data into information and relevant Google forms.
