About the job
Specialist in interaction with communities and social support of the population (help GFFO) is responsible for the effective implementation of the Victim Assistance (VA) program at the community level. The position involves carrying out victim-oriented communication, identifying persons affected by explosive ordnance, and ensuring their safe, confidential and timely referral to appropriate services and support, including their family members. 400"> Responsibilities and Responsibilities:
To carry out structured work with the community in areas affected by VPN in order to identify victims and persons with special needs
Provide support safe disclosure by survivors and their confidential referral to VA case management services
Dissemination of information about available help (social security cash assistance, psychological support, rehabilitation, referrals)
Join mapping community stakeholders and relevant service providers
Identify protection risks, barriers to access to services, and instances of stigma or exclusion patterns that affect victims and prevent them from receiving appropriate support
Interact with leaders communities, local authorities, health and social service providers to ensure coordinated action
Contribute to the establishment and support the functioning of community protection structures where appropriate
Maintain regular coordination with the social worker and the Protection team
Ensure the application of victim-centered approaches, as well as ensuring gender sensitivity, age appropriateness and inclusion of persons with disabilities in all forumsengagement swing
Adhere to standards of protection, prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA), privacy and data protection
Contribute to the achievement of project indicators related to work with communities, outreach and identification of victims of GNP
Ensure accurate documentation of community awareness and engagement activities according to established counting rules to avoid duplication of cases
Contribute to monitoring reintegration difficulties and changes in protection risks at community level
Provide structured and regular feedback to line manager on trends, dynamics in the community and existing gaps in access to services
Contribute to the safe and ethical implementation of activities, ensuring their compliance with humanitarian principles and operating standards.
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications, skills and work experience:
Higher education in the field of social work or a related field
Minimum 2 years of work experience in the humanitarian field
Basic knowledge of legal mechanisms and procedures legal aid related to victims of explosive ordnance (EXP), including access to public benefits, disability procedures, compensation mechanisms, and interaction with probation or social protection agencies
Understanding of psychological first aid (PFA) principles and the ability to identify cases requiring specialized psychosocial support (PSS), ensuring timely and safe referral with compliance clear professional boundaries
A thorough understanding of the principles of protection and a victim-centered approach
Knowledge of referral pathways and public protection mechanisms
Understanding the principles of Do No Harm and sensitivity to conflicts.
Strong organizational and reporting skills
Ability to work autonomously in the field.
