The ROKADA Charitable Foundation, an executive partner of the UNHCR, announces a competition to fill the vacancy "Specialist on interaction with authorities" to work with internally displaced persons and affected population groups
KEY TASKS
We are looking for a confident, responsible and energetic specialist in working with local government bodies.
- Organization and holding of meetings, consultations and trainings with community representatives to determine their needs< /li>
- Supporting community initiatives in implementing projects and programs aimed at improving their social and economic situation.
- Monitoring and evaluation of results of work with communities, as well as preparation of reports for internal and external use.
- Organization and conduct of trainings for employees of social protection departments, social service centers, local charitable organizations and other institutions that provide assistance to people in difficult life situations.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Higher education
- Knowledge of social support, counseling on protection and psychosocial support. Experience in providing protection and psychosocial support during emergency response is an advantage
- Knowledge of Ukrainian social policy and national/international recommendations related to social issues, protection and/or human rights (such as displacement, child protection, violence against women/girls, advocacy, working with people with disabilities and/or minorities, legal rights, etc.)
- Excellent communication and active listening skills when interacting with target populations (displaced persons and host populations, returnees)
- Fluency in Ukrainian. Knowledge of English will be an advantage
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office
- Other relevant experience and skills
< li style="font-weight: 400">Highly motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision- Previous experience in humanitarian or human rights organizations is welcome
< li style="font-weight: 400">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work in a team and build partnerships with various stakeholders.
