Specialist in corporate financial transactions/support of merger and acquisition agreements (for the USAID SOERA project) in Deloitte

Deloitte is looking for a qualified candidate for the position of specialist in corporate financial transactions/M&A support in support of the USAID project on reforming state-owned enterprises in Ukraine (SOERA). The goal of SOERA is to improve efficiency, transparency, accountability and governance by Ukrainian state-owned enterprises, improving the management of state-owned enterprises and facilitating the privatization of state-owned enterprises where necessary. These goals will help to reduce opportunities for corruption in Ukrainian state enterprises, increase the participation of the private sector and stimulate economic growth. Duties: participation in financial due diligence projects in the process of accompanying merger and acquisition agreements; participation in projects on independent business review in the process of debt restructuring; analysis of financial reporting (mandatory accounting and management reporting, IFRS reporting); analysis and processing of accounting and financial information, analysis of contracts; collection of information and conducting analytical research; preparation of sections of analytical reports; participation in development /analysis of financial models. Requirements: higher education in the field of accounting/finance/economics/auditing; understanding of corporate finance and financial reporting; basic experience in the field of auditing/accounting/financial analysis is not required, but would be an advantage. level of proficiency in English (written and spoken) above average; advanced user of Excel, PowerPoint; ability to work in a team in multitasking mode.
